In searching for the perfect conference venue for the IxDA 2011 conference, we immediately fell in love with Boulder. Boulder has breathtaking scenery, great dining, a hip, intellectual, college-town vibe and a fun sense of Gold Rush history. Plus it's home to our partner and killer up-and-coming program, Boulder Digital Works.
Start with High Tech: Sun Microsystems, IBM, Google, several federal labs, four Nobel Laureates in sciences.
Mix with Creative Class: Artisans and practitioners in physical and digital worlds, ranging from custom perfumer to agency Crispin Porte
Add Entrepreneurship: A gazillion startups, many born in CU’s Leeds College, some nurtured by TechStars startup incubator.
How do you get to Boulder, Colorado? Start by flying into Denver International Airport (DEN). Then, you have some options:

Time: 45 minutes

Cheap option for the single traveler. The RTD line runs
hourly to downtown Boulder

Taxis get you there in a hurry. Great option if you’re traveling with others.

The Super Shuttle stops at a number of hotels.
Cost: around $40/day
Time: 45 minutes
Pick from all major rental companies. Additionally, parking at some hotels may be
up to $14/night.
